Dear owners of Israelataclick:
First, I'd like to thank you for this wonderful site – it's everything we need plus more! I'd like to ask if you have any information about trips that are appropriate for a family with teenagers and children. We thank you in advance. Keep up the good work! - Yerachmiel

IsraelATaClick replies:
Dear Yerachmiel.
Thank you for your kind words. One of our main categories is "attractions". Once you click on that tab, you will see that we categorized the different attractions according to type. You should be able to easily find what best suits your family's needs. For your convenience, here is the link.

For the Coca Cola factory tours - how do we find out if they are given in English? We will be visiting from the States in August 2008. Thank you

IsraelATaClick replies:
Please follow this link to get to the information page for the Coca Cola factory in Bnei Brak. You will see a button on the side which you can click for more "Details".
Once you do, you will be shown a link to the Coca Cola website, where you can contact them directly via email ("contact us" in Hebrew is "Tzor Kesher", or "öåø ÷ùø"). You can write to them in English - I am sure they can respond to your query in English too. I believe that you can also contact them by phone in English, but I mentioned the website first because I am aware of the time difference difficulties.

Hi.
I am looking for a short-term, furnished apartment to rent during the summer. We would like to have air-conditioning and no more than three flights up, unless there is an elevator. Is there anywhere on your site where we can look such a thing up? Also, we are looking to rent a car, and a cellphone while we stay, at the best possible rates. Thank you!

IsraelATaClick replies:
Let me respond to your inquiries one by one.

1. Apartment rentals in Jerusalem: Follow this link for our apartment rentals section, which you can modify according to most of your specifications (in Jerusalem, air conditioned, up to three flights, with an elevator), and even more (with balcony/parking/storage..).

2. Please note that this part is relatively new and still being updated almost daily. You can also contact a real estate agent in Jerusalem at the following link: http://www.israelataclick.com/Items.aspx?LocationID=16848&Type=1&Hybrid=False. Under each one of them, you can click on "details" to see more information, such as which languages they speak. 2. Regarding car rentals, see here. I am sure you will recognize many of the car rentals there.

3. The following is a link to the cellphone-rentals section: http://www.israelataclick.com/Search.aspx?SearchString=cell%20phone&pageIndex=0. You can contact any of the business using the information provided - all have phone numbers, many have email. Please be assured that most (large) Israeli businesses employ English-speakers. For better peace of mind, however, you can first check that in the "Details" section of each business listing.

Hi. I was referred to your site by a friend, and it is absolutely awesome!! I would love to post my business on here, but I don’t see my category anywhere.

IsraelATaClick replies:

Dear IsraelATaClick;
We are planning on making a Bar Mitzvah in Israel in September, and it looks like your site will be a great help to us. We are first looking for a hall and then we'll go on to the rest of the details. Is there anything you can recommend?

IsraelATaClick replies:
Actually, we have a wizard that was created with you (well, people like you) in mind. In the home page, you will see a button on the left which says; "Bar Mitzvah Plan". Click on this and I am sure you will be in for a pleasant surprise… Regarding the halls, please check out our hall section (either through the Bar Mitzvah wizard or through this link:http://www.israelataclick.com/SubCategory.aspx?LocationID=10380) and you will see a listing of halls in Israel. You can modify your search by different criteria, such as city, type of food, or kashrus. You can also look around for some user recommendations.

Oh, wow, what a site! I wish there was something like this 22 years ago, when we made Aliyah! Good going. For my question – we've been living here for many years now, and only now finally decided to buy a home. Do you have any tips or pointers on how to go about this? As long as we're here, we're still clueless… Maybe this will be a good start. Thank you and once again – good job!

IsraelATaClick replies:
Thank you, too, for your kind words. Actually, I believe we can help you greatly. Please follow this link - (or click on "Articles" on top of the home page and then select "Real Estate in Israel") to get a comprehensive guide on buying a home in Israel. Yishuv Tov!

Dear Israelataclick –
I am a seminary girl learning in Israel and came to your website through the Aish.com advertisement. I think this site is out of this world. I don't think there's anything I need that's not on here (I checked). I just wanted to know – is this information only or do you have other interesting things like news and stuff?

IsraelATaClick replies:

I am Israeli business. I want to advertise my business her. My business is most tourists. But I don't have website.

IsraelATaClick replies:
Dear Amir.
There are many options of advertising even if you do not have a website. Your advertisement can lead either to your listing here on our site, or – if you'd like – we can actually build you a website! Please be in contact with our agents through this form ("Advertising" on the bottom of every page): http://israelataclick.com/Advertise.aspx . Our agents speak Hebrew too.
Sara writes:

Do you have any information on conversions, like measurements (meters vs. feet) or degrees?
That's something that can be very, very helpful to those of us who just can't get used to the Israeli system.

IsraelATaClick replies:
Dear Sara –
of course, we have a conversion section that has everything from measurements to shoe sizes. See our "Articles" or here.

Your site is really cool.
I spent some time on it and it keeps looking like there's still more I didn't get to. Can you tell us more about your site so that we can utilize it to its fullest?

IsraelATaClick replies:
You're right.
There is a lot more to israelATaClick than meets the eye. Many months of work have been put into this site so that it offers solutions to many of the problems Anglos face either living/touring/investing here in Israel. You can read about our site in the "About" section. For your convenience, here is a direct link
Debbie B writes:

Hi there.
I am a writer by profession, and while going through your site (highly recommended by more than one friend), I thought to myself that perhaps some nice stories or personal experiences will add much to your site. I will be very glad to send in some of my work about Israel if you find my idea appealing.

IsraelATaClick replies:
Dear Debbie.
You are very welcome to send in your work! Actually, we do have some nice articles in our "Articles" section (on top of the home page), but we are always looking to add more. Our website is created BY anglos, FOR anglos. It is not only our website serving you, but rather a shared site where we all share our experiences, tips, stories, and information. Any viewer who wishes to submit their own experiences, ideas, tips, or anything of the sort, is very welcome. In fact, we greatly encourage you to participate in adding to the information in our site. We are waiting to hear from you.
DASS writes:

Is there a job section in the site?

IsraelATaClick replies:
As of now, we decided not to create a "classifieds" section in our site. Our site as a whole came to fill in an empty niche, whereas "classifieds" – there are many. However, if we do see demand for such a service, we will seriously consider it. We take our viewers' input very seriously and would love to hear what our other viewers have to say.
Bernie writes:

I noticed that certain attractions were listed as "closed on Shabbos". Does that mean that if they're not listed as such, they are open on Shabbos? And also – one of those that is listed as closed on Shabbos, I know it to be open then.

IsraelATaClick replies:
We have put in the information that we received either from the business itself or from outside sources. When dealing with such a huge mass of information, some mistakes are bound to happen. We very much appreciate it when our viewers let us know if they found an incorrect listing in this form. Please scroll down to where it says "update an existing item" and let us know what the change is. Regarding your other question – no, the fact that it does not say "closed on shabbos" does not necessarily mean that it is open then. There is usually more information that can help you determine that – opening hours, a website link, or a phone number. Kol Hakavod for your care in only attending sites that are closed on Shabbos.
